A LITERATE COMMUNITY IS A HEALTHY COMMUNITY. The Friends of the Knox County Public Library support the Knox County Public Library because it supports literacy and lifelong learning, strengthens families, and empowers the individual. The Friends also contribute to community programs that promote reading and books. You can direct your gift — in any amount — to the library or to the community programs such as Books in the Community that Friends support as we grow a healthy citizenry together.
