Children’s Festival of Reading

Focusing almost exclusively on books for our youngest readers, the Friends booth is always a crowd favorite at the Knox County Public Library’s Children’s Festival of Reading each year.

All volumes are $1 or less, making it possible for families to stock up on summer reading at affordable prices.

East Tennessee History Fair

Hundreds of visitors immerse themselves in regional history at the East Tennessee History Fair each year. The Friends book sale features titles on regional history, culture, and surroundings.

Collectible Books

Friends frequently receives donations of collectible books. Some are offered to the Special Collections of the East Tennessee History Center. Others are listed for sale online.
